Why mePor qué yo

These aren’t hypothetical questions to me. Para mí no son preguntas hipotéticas.

My wife is an OB/GYN, and for the past decade I’ve had a front-row seat to the realities of a career in medicine. From medical school to residency, fellowship, and now the transition toward becoming an attending, I’ve experienced alongside her what it takes to build a life around medical training.

I’ve seen the long hours, the sacrifices, the financial uncertainty, and the milestones that come with each stage. More importantly, I’ve had to navigate many of the same decisions my clients face: Where should we live during residency? Does it make sense to buy during fellowship? Should we purchase a home now or wait until an attending salary? How do we make smart financial decisions while planning for a future that is constantly evolving?

These aren’t hypothetical questions to me. They’re conversations my wife and I have had around our own kitchen table.

That perspective shapes the way I approach real estate. I understand that for health care professionals, buying a home isn’t simply about finding the right property. It’s about timing, financial flexibility, career transitions, family priorities, and making decisions that make sense both today and years down the road.

The other half of it

My understanding of physicians’ lives is only one part of what I bring to the table.

Before focusing on residential real estate, I spent eight years working with a land and subdivision developer, gaining firsthand experience in how communities are planned, developed, and built. I’ve seen neighborhoods take shape long before the first home was constructed. Over 13 years in real estate sales, I’ve been involved in the sale of more than 1,000 lots, 70 homes, and 45 rental properties.

Today, I bring those two worlds together: a deep understanding of real estate and a personal connection to the physician experience.

How I work

My goal isn’t simply to help physicians buy and sell homes. It’s to help them make thoughtful real estate decisions that support the lives and careers they’ve worked so hard to build.

So I run your numbers, not a generic example. Your contract, your loan balance, your three-to-five year horizon. I don’t forecast prices and I won’t tell you now is always a good time to buy. I’ll show you what the numbers do under your own circumstances and let you decide.

Questions I get every weekPreguntas que me hacen cada semana

Should I buy now, or wait until my student loans come down?

It depends on three things I need from you: how long your contract runs, what your loan balance actually looks like, and how long you plan to stay in the house. Those three change the answer completely, and no general rule covers them.

I won’t tell you now is always a good time to buy. Book 15 minutes and we’ll run your numbers instead of a generic example.

I’m on a three-year contract. Does buying make sense?

On a short horizon the real question isn’t whether prices rise — I don’t forecast that. It’s whether you can cover the cost of selling when you leave: commission, closing costs, and whatever the house needs to be market-ready.

We put those numbers next to what you’d pay in rent over the same three years. Sometimes buying wins and sometimes it doesn’t. You’ll see which one it is before you decide.

What if I don’t like the job and leave early?

That’s a resale and rental question, and it’s worth asking before you buy rather than after. How fast homes in that area actually sell matters: Meyerland was 16 days to sell between January and July 2026 (HAR). Some of my areas move faster than others.

We’ll also look at whether the house would lease well, so selling isn’t your only exit.

Can you help me if I’m buying from outside the United States?

Yes. I’ve walked cross-border buyers through the legal side of purchasing in Texas, in Spanish, start to finish — one of them wrote the first review on this page about exactly that.

Do you work in Spanish?

Yes. Everything — showings, contracts, financing conversations, closing — in English or Spanish, whichever you prefer. Same service either way.

How do you handle flooding concerns?

It’s one of the first things I check in Houston, not something I wait for you to raise. Flood history on the specific property, the current maps, and what the elevation and drainage actually look like on that street.

Why does your background matter on new construction?

I spent eight years with a land and subdivision developer before I sold my first house. I saw neighborhoods drawn on paper before a slab existed. So I read a builder’s contract, a plat, and a phasing plan as someone who has been on the other side of them.

I’m selling and I don’t live in Texas anymore. Can you handle it?

Yes — listing through closing, handled start to finish. I’ve done it for out-of-state owners who never flew in.

What areas do you cover?

The Texas Medical Center area, Bellaire, The Heights, Meyerland, inside the 610 Loop, Sugar Land, Friendswood, Webster, and League City. Buyers from $400K up, new builds, luxury, relocation into Houston, and sellers.
